Hi there! Just wanted to put up a quick post about some of the things I’ve been working on and what’s coming up. I had the flu in February so that put a bit of a damper on my productivity levels but I did accomplish a few things.

This Thursday!

I’ll be showing off these works of altered photography at the City of Night show! This year it’s taking place at the Ready Room from 6pm to 11pm.

Running along the theme of the interconnection between everything, everyone and the universe itself, these are digitally altered images of photography I shot featuring some of my favorite flowers. Prints are available in my shop as well as tote bags for preorder! Also, if you buy prints of these or of any prints of other artwork and photography in my shop 20% of proceeds will be donated to the ACLU.

This Saturday!

Come find me in Maplewood at Resist the Madness! Art and Music Showcase! These two pieces will be on display along with some other awesome work at The Elements of Design Studio from 2pm to 8pm.

These are both part of a series I plan to continue working on called “Aren’t We All Made of Stardust Anyway?” Maybe some day I’ll give an in depth explanation about these, but for now I do want to note that 50% of proceeds from prints sold of either of these works will go to the ACLU.

In the Meantime…

I’m also working on a sequential art project that has me on a steep learning curve with digital illustration. Trying to draw with photoshop and a graphics tablet still feels awkward. I also find it really hard to not get caught up in minor details as I’m sketching. But as with anything practice makes “hey that’s pretty okay looking”. I don’t have an ETA on when I’ll be able to share that project but sometime soon!
