Cattails by one of the lakes in Forest Park

This will be a short update… I’m still in disbelief that it is Christmas next week but I guess that doesn’t change the fact that I still have so much to do. I got some things done last week, but not as much as I wanted.

I’m slowly adding inventory to my etsy site. I added a few more prints to my shop this week and also started exploring production methods for notecard and greeting cards. I’m completely enamoured with the metallic finish on the set of small prints I ordered so I am excited to use those for some handmade cards. But I am also trying out printed notecards to see how the quality is. At this point I think I prefer the handmade ones even if they take more time.  It allows me to vary the prints I use without ordering large batches of everything.

I managed to finish the Scooter Trek drawing this week and I meant to have it scanned and cleaned up today but its been a rough weekend, so I’m saving that for tomorrow. I got a bunch of photo editing done on pictures I took last weekend in the park. A few turned out fairly nice although it was so cloudy that day they all seemed to have a gray and melancholy mood.

I think next weekend will probably be pretty crazy so I may have an update later this week or it might just be after the new year! Whatever the case, please have a happy and safe holiday!
