It does seem like I have a bunch of drawings just asking to be colored in though…<\/p>\n
So, I’m pretty excited about making it through the Inktober Challenge. For some reason, I found 31 days of drawing and inking easier than 28 days of Thing-A-Day in February. If I haven’t mentioned it before, Thing-A-Day is another creativity challenge that used to take place every February in order to brighten up one of the coldest\/darkest months of the year. I say “used to take place” because last I checked, the official site organizing the challenge\u00a0was no longer.<\/p>\n
I would always hit the middle of the month and just fizzle out on finishing the challenge so I was afraid the same thing would happen with Inktober. I’m not sure what was different, though. Maybe it was just my own willpower?<\/p>\n
Maybe it was the timing? Even though February shouldn’t be a busy month for me, it seems like something always happened to throw me off schedule.\u00a0Time management is and has always been a struggle for me. It took me a long time to admit to myself that I didn’t\/don’t really know how to best manage my time and it’s something that I’ve really only recognized as a problem in the past few years. I actually used to think I was fairly good at it–and I am under certain situations. But\u00a0this topic should probably be a whole other future blog post. So I’m going to stop right here.<\/p>\n
The point is<\/em> Inktober is over and now I have the odd sensation of freedom followed by anxiety because there are no more constraints. I can do whatever I want, whenever I want!
